Mail for Max

Want to reach out to Max himself? Max is allowed to send and receive mail while in federal custody awaiting trial. All mail sent to him is screened and documented by law enforcement.

Sending Max a Letter

The content of letters are searched and read by law enforcement Anything shared is not considered private in any way. Please refer to BOP guidelines here

Max doesn’t receive original copies of mail. They are screened by the jail and uploaded to their system, Max is then given a scanned copy.

Sending Max Photos or Drawings

Max is allowed to receive 4x6 photos. The number of photos he can possess at any given time is limited. Any excess photos will be saved with his personal items for him to claim upon his release.

Art or drawings are allowed but will be photocopied and given to Max. Original copies will be saved with his personal effects.

Sending Max Books & Other Items

Max is allowed to receive new paperback books from retailers and bookstores such as Amazon and Barnes & Noble. He can’t receive hardcovers or books sent from individuals, they must be sent through an online shopping distributor.

Other than books, mail, news articles or photos, no other items can be sent to Max. The BOP does not allow packages from outside the facility; everything must be purchased through Max’s commissary account. Packages sent to Max containing such items won’t be returned to sender.
